New Coastal City to be Built North of Hangzhou Bay Bridge

    A new coastal city will be built in the north side of Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge. The news was released at a press conference on the new area of Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge on Sunday in Haiyan County of east China's Zhejiang Province,

    According to yesterday's Qianjiang Evening News, the new coastal city, covering a total area of 25.7 sq.km., will be the center of the golden area surrounded by the four cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo and it will take an hour or so from the new coastal city to any of the four cities upon its completion in 2006.
